“Bizim Qirim” (“Our Crimea”) International Nongovernmental Organization is a volunteer non-profit public Organization with international status. Organization is a legal entity, which is created and acts in compliance with actual legislature of Ukraine and international law.
The main goal of the Organization is preservation of national interests, enhancement of reestablishment of political, social-economic, cultural, linguistic and religious rights of Crimean Tatar people;
The main objectives of Organization are: preservation of human rights and freedoms, preservation of rights of indigenous people in Ukraine; enhancement of recovery of national and religious identity of Crimean Tatar people; propaganda of Crimean Tatar language, culture and customs among inhabitants of AR Crimea; creation of positive image for Crimean Tatar people and proliferation of ideas of humanism, peacekeeping and tolerance among inhabitants of AR Crimea; formation of experience of common international, political, business and humanitarian activities of Crimean Tatar youth; representation and preservation of own legal interests and interests of its members in the face of national, regional and local authorities, as well as public associations; participation in political process of ARC and Ukraine, conduction of mass events (meetings, demonstrations etc.) within the framework of actual legislature of Ukraine and international law;
To reach its goals and objectives, Organization in compliance with legal procedures: establishes international contacts with representatives of Crimean Tatar people of foreign countries; maintains international contacts; signs relevant international agreements; participates in holding events, which do not conflict with international liabilities of Ukraine and actual legislature; creates and joins international public (non-governmental) organizations, conducts different events: competitions, meetings, seminars, trainings, conferences on various problematic issues concerning Crimean Tatar people, interethnic and inter-religious relations in Ukraine; supports introduction of innovational projects and programs in accordance with interests of its members; participates in organization of exhibitions, movie and video showings, lectures, concerts; founds mass-media, in sanctioned way enhances collecting, processing , exchange and submission of information that regards Crimean Tatars (education abroad etc.), covers its activities via mass-media, publishes materials, which contain scientific works and researches on Crimean Tatar issue and other issues, in mass-media founded by Organization; conducts independent public polls on issues of significant importance for Crimean Tatar people; participates in shaping public opinion by performing in mass-media, providing lecture propaganda and other means not prohibited by law; performs business and other commercial by founding self-sustained institutions and organizations as legal entities; cooperates with state authorities and public associations; may join leagues of public organizations; accepts from national, regional and local authorities, legal and physical entities information and material support required to fulfill own goals and objectives; offers legislator initiatives and other proposals to authoritative bodies; provides other activities, which does not conflict with actual legislature of Ukraine and statutory purposes of “Bizim Qirim”.
